The International VDI Congress, which has been held for more than 30 years, has been given a new name: Dritev. While the name has changed, the event — which takes place June 27-28 in Bonn — remains one of the world’s largest automobile congresses for powertrain and transmission developers.
The acronym Dritev stands for DRIvetrain Transmission Electrification in Vehicles.
Also new for 2018 are the following interactive programs:
• Dritev Lab
• congress round tables
• nominees for the ZF pitch event, “Electric Innovation Challenge”
The congress’s specialist program — featuring around 80 expert lectures — will remain the event’s central feature.
Congress participants will also be able to visit around 100 international exhibitors, who will present their innovative solutions for the development, simulation, and production of gearboxes and transmission components.
