Compressor blade

The compressor is one of the main components in a gas turbine. The compressor blade is a rotating blade on the disc of a compressor. It adds energy to air by increasing its pressure and density as it moves in the engine. Compressor blades are made of special steel alloys or materials that do not deform even under high loads and at elevated temperatures.
