Edge rounding

Edge rounding is used to round off sharp edges precisely. A small layer of material is removed from the edges of the workpiece to create a smooth surface. The rounded edges of the workpieces lead to improved properties in components where several parts interlock or slide on top of each other.

In aviation the engine includes the engine and other components necessary for propulsion. These may include turbines and also propellers and gearboxes.
