Watch plate

The watch plate is a flat part of a watch on which other components are placed. There are holes in the watch plate to allow the assembly of the clockwork wheels and other parts. In order to guarantee the precision of the movement accurate machining of the watch plate is essential. Often fine grinding or double-disk grinding is used here.
